Chika, the owner and curator is really excited about the art toy community, going so far as to run her shop out of a modest blue house right off the main strip of Old Town. The name of her store is inspired by her late grandfather, who would make her toys from bamboo when she was a little girl. A loving and awesome tribute i think.
What the location lacks in square footage, it more than makes it up in an awesome display of customs done for her and of course, a good selection of retail products worth checking out! In addition to that she is doing a UK Dunny trade show the 22 of January, 6:30PM-8:30PM, if you are in or near the SD area. Please go and show your support!Chika has mentioned there is a good possibility of more shows in the future if things go well, and to my surprise and delight she offered up a Camille Garcia Rose "Patch" for PBC to work on.
